- Key member of the HR team leading and conducting employee related investigations across departments and teams nationally.
- Use a structured methodology to conduct investigations in collaboration with HR team members as required
- Develop and document process, guidelines and record keeping in line with compliance standards.
- Design and deliver training to people leaders on preventing and addressing respect in the workplace issues plus conflict management
- Create data and analytics for complaints and litigation cases ensuring investigation consistency, conclusions and next steps
- Support the Human Resources department by contributing to various projects and process improvement.
- University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management preferred
- Minimum of three years of related experience
- Bilingualism spoken and written (French & English) is required as this is a National role
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple locations in a matrix organization
- Approach challenges with a can-do attitude
- Consider yourself agile, challenges the status quo and thrives in a constantly changing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand operational structure and process
- Ability to observe and understand situations with a high degree of complexity and involving different business process.
- Strong rigor, analytical and synthesis skills.
- Knowledge in many areas of human resources;
- CHRP and/or CHRL designation an asset;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite;
- Knowledge of RBQ and CCQ rules would be an asset;
- Occasional travel
