We are looking for a great person to join our Luisa Risto Team as a Host or Hostess If you love food and people this might be the position for you

This is a part time position that involves varying evening shifts and would be great for High School or University Students.

The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests.

The Host/Hostess provides customer service within the dining establishment as well as acts upon requests necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

Greets guests as they arrive and seats them accordingly, ensuring the optimum use of tables
Ensures special needs or requests are arranged and accommodated
Answers guest inquiries, takes requests for reservations and takeout orders via phone
Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the frontofhouse environment
Maintains excellent customer service and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, clients, coworkers, etc.
Works closely with the kitchen staff and servers optimizing communication to ensure efficient operations
Escalates any customer needs or concerns as necessary
Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

Previous host/hostess or food service experience required
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly verbal
Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs
