Your opportunity:


Reporting to the Graduate Program Manager, this position assists in all aspects of graduate program admission and administration, including advising students on program requirements, supporting program administration and coordinating program logistics.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
  • Determining logístical details and activities for events and/or programming
  • Maintaining course information on student information systems
  • Assisting with the graduate admissions process
  • Ensuring that procedures and/or guidelines are followed
  • Providing detailed information to students on program and/or course requirements
  • Advising students on personal and academic issues by probing and providing a range of options and possible consequences
  • Coordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and followup items
  • Collating and organizing data for various reports

Essential Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience
  • Experience interacting with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience with providing information to students on admissions and related processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
  • Experience updating, maintaining records and ensuring accuracy, including student records and marks
  • Experience with coordinating program logistics, including timetabling, maintaining calendars and coordinating rooms assignments
  • Experience coordinating admissions, enrollment, awards, and mark/grade processes
  • Experience coordinating events with the ability to perform event set up and close off
  • Strong computer skills in MS office, database, content management system and group scheduling software
  • Strong skills with ROSI, Slate, SGS Progress Tracker and Sharepoint
  • Excellent organization, planning, time management and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to relate to all levels of faculty, staff and student in a manner which facilitates cooperation
  • Strong skills in analyzing, organizing and summarizing data
  • Strong problem solving skills with sound judgement
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated attention to detail; dependability; accuracy
