About the Role

We are looking for a Seasonal General Labour Worker (April/March to mid-December) to support our team at our Leaside location to fill bags of sand, stone, and other materials daily.

Sometimes this role may provide support and maintenance around the premises.

Requirements:

Must be able to work Monday to Friday (7:00 am to 4:00 pm)
Saturday mornings as required
Able to lift, move and manipulate objects up to 80 lbs
Comfortable in a fastpaced environment
Able to work independently and as a collaborative team
Able to support general maintenance of the warehouse and yard (sweeping, cleaning, cutting grass, etc.)
Must be able to work the Spring to Fall Season (April to December)

Working Conditions

Overtime as required
Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 80 lbs
Extended periods of standing
High noise levels
Regular exposure to conditions including heat, humidity, and dust
Repetitive work
Use of required personal protective equipment must have safety boots (CSA Green triangle patch and CSA White rectangle with orange Greek letter omega Ω)

From $16.00 per hour
