Description

to workthe Complete Energy Solutions is currently seeking a Pipefitter/Steamfitter to join our talented construction team This position entails the layout, assembly, welding and installation of HVAC equipment and associated piping in hi-rise residential buildings.

You will work with in-house and external construction teams to ensure each project is executed in a timely and efficient manner.

Integrity and teamwork are essential for this role.


Please note that all applicants must currently live in Canada and be legally entitled to work without sponsorship.

Here's What You'll Get to Do:

  • Work on commercial construction projects installing piping systems for mechanical installations.
  • Duties include pipefitting, pipe welding and installation of pipe hangers and related materials.
  • Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
  • Perform cleaning of work area, company tools and equipment when necessary.
  • Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman/Supervisor.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Proven experience as a pipefitter.
  • Technical knowledge of how to properly fit pipe and layout the piping for a project.
  • Experience with mechanical piping installation.
  • Experience with installing chillers, boilers, and cooling towers.
  • Proven ability of working with carbon steel and copper piping ranging in size up to 10 inches.
  • Experience working with stainless piping is an asset.
  • Ability to read designs or blueprints and knows exactly what needs to be done for the job.
  • Confident with the installation of chilled, hot and steam piping.
  • Ability to thread, weld, and solder pipes.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Excellent dexterity and precision in movement.
  • Comfortable working from ladders and man lifts at various heights up to 40 feet.
  • Knowledge of how to use pipe fitting tools for cutting and attaching pipe to different materials.
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
