    About This Unit:
    14 South is a 28-bed unit and member of Sinai Health's Centre for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) devoted to the inpatient medical and surgical management of clients with IBD. The primary focus of the unit is IBD, although additional services such as General Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Gastrointestinal Medicine (GI) are also present. As a Registered Nurse, you will be part of a renowned IBD centre in Canada, meeting the complex medical and surgical needs of this population. You'll have the opportunity to acquire specialized knowledge and skills in the clinical care of Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis, including central/peripheral infusion therapy, complex surgical wound management, ostomy assessment and care, acute and chronic pain management as well as pre and post-operative patient care.

    Job Requirements

    • Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
    • Current BCLS
    • BScN (preferred)
