Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare research ethics board submissions;
- Coordinate research activities with other departments/universities and study approval from the Research Ethics Board;
- Conduct qualitative interviews with patients, families, and health care providers;
- Conduct qualitative data analysis;
- Lead scoping review activities;
- Participate in and leads team meetings and policy workshops;
- Lead and support the writing of reports, policy briefs, and manuscripts for publications, along with other knowledge translation activities;
- Present at local, national and/or international meetings/conferences;
- Partner with Dr. Pritlove in supporting/mentoring graduate students in the conduct of their research;
- Utilize expert knowledge to contribute to institutional activities, e.g., being a judge for poster competitions, presenting at rounds, etc.
Qualifications:
- Successfully defend a Doctoral thesis within a three (3) month time period after starting the postdoctoral position;
- Understanding of and/or experience with critical feminist theories (e.g., Intersectionality/Intersectionality-Based Policy Analysis Framework, Feminist Political Economy), Group Concept Mapping methods, and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) principles are considered to be strong assets.
