Inovata Foods currently looking for Line Set-up Associates to work at our Tillsonburg, Ontario location. Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of high-quality frozen meals for prominent clients throughout North America.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Reporting to the maintenance manager, the maintenance line set-up is responsible for the day-to-day effectiveness of production equipment and facility services.

TASKS:

Conduct regular inspections of departmental equipment.
Ensure all equipment required for production is in proper condition.
Disassemble all production equipment for cleaning purposes.
Reassemble all production equipment for operating.
Complete all required paperwork for the QA/QC HACCP program, accurately.
Clean shop and keep production equipment organized in storage when not in use.
Ensure production, boxing, and the kitchen are free of equipment which is not in use.
Bring to the attention of the lead hand any conditions which may be a concern for health safety and/or food safety.
Troubleshoot and fine tune the operation of all production equipment.
Combine multiple pieces of equipment to work in unison forming a complete production line.
Must be capable of working flexible and sometimes extended hours.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge:

Strong problem -solving skills and ability to communicate. Capable of reading and interpreting all electrical/mechanical drawing and schematics. Up to date with the codes, legislation and regulations.

Manual Dexterity
General use of computer. Capable of using all associated tools as required.

Manual dexterity also required when operating any machinery, lifting devices, etc.
