Please note:

This posting is for an 4-month Student Summer 2023 placement with a start date of May 2023, and end-date of August 2023.

In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:


  • Be returning back to school after the work term enddate of August 2023; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2023), you must require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What will you do?

  • Identify and collect data sources using specific tools or techniques; input them into the organization's information system.
  • Provide data flow diagrams and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with data validation and cleaning through data quality set up and execution.
  • Analyze and extract key data and information to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements.
  • Prepare supporting documentation and memos for stakeholder and audit reviews.
  • Facilitate information gathering sessions with partners and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and develop internal relationships

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Knowledge in building, documenting, and assessing processes and data flows
  • Advanced business document writing skills for an executive audience and audit review
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Strong Teamwork and Collaboration Skills
  • Analytical Thinking

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with End User Reporting Tools (ex. Tableau)
  • Actuarial & Finance Knowledge and Insurance industry knowledge
  • Other programming skills considered an asset
