Inventory Operations Coordinator to join the
team in Mississauga ON for a 6-month contract
.

About the Role:

The Inventory Operations Coordinator has the general responsibility to participate in coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities daily.

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing the receiving, warehousing, and coordination of products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning and executing the transfer of materials between 3PL/Intercompany
  • Overseeing Inventory, Inventory Count and Reporting Discrepancies
  • Processing and following up on POs with vendors
  • Overseeing receiving discrepancies and coordination with 3PL/Vendor
  • Coordinating with the Shipping team/Material Handlers
  • Reporting on Warehouse operations
  • Willingness to accept any relevant tasks as the business requires

Basic Qualifications:


  • College Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Inventory Management
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, as needed
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
  • Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of the building without limitations
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours as needed by the business

Preferred Qualifications:


  • College Graduate preferably in the Supply chain, Engineering, or Business Management
  • University Degree
  • Inventory Management experience in manufacturing environment
