    The AWS Migration Acceleration Services team's mission is to help customers, partners, and internal teams accelerate the migration and modernization of applications.

    We provide a single destination that brings together a curated set of migration related guidance, tools, workflows, and people from across AWS.

    The services we build guide customers through the migration process, automate complex tasks, and provide proactive guidance.


    As a senior software development engineer on the AWS Migration Acceleration Services team, you will design and build products & services that will help enterprise companies migrate their workloads to AWS.

    Delivering a reliable and high-performance service at AWS scale requires engineers with extraordinary technical expertise and boundless creativity.

    Key job responsibilities

    As a Software Development Engineer on the AWS Migration Acceleration Services team, you will design and build products & services that will help enterprise companies migrate their workloads to AWS.

    About the team

    AWS Migration Services builds a family of products that help customers to assess and plan their large scale migrations to AWS.

    We innovate to help customers to simplify the migration journey and achieve their migration goals sooner.

    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    Vancouver, BC, CAN

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of noninternship professional software development experience
    • 2+ years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
    • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
