THE POSITION:
- Support Martin Deerline's strategy of ensuring our clients are optimized for the future with their equipment and technology.
- Provide In Field Equipment and Technology Optimizations for our clients.
- Agronomic and Machine Data Management
- Acquire, Deliver, and Support data optimization program.
- Work to adapt and improve data offerings as technology and solutions advance.
- Develop expertise with John Deere Operations Center and the JDLink Machine Connectivity ecosystem.
- Understand industry practices and equipment limitations to ensure adequate solutions for customer needs.
- Work to ensure all other Martin Deerline departments understand John Deere's technology strategy and how they can engage in the process.
- Work with the ISG team and other departments to provide training and technological support for our clients.
- Provide Field Support for our Weather Monitoring solution service.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of oneyear in an Agriculture related role, farming background a strong asset.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change continuously.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentational skills.
- Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and GIS Programs (SMS, ArcGIS) experience not required but would be a benefit.
- Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs.
- Associate degree or Diploma in Agriculture Technology, Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or any Ag related program or equivalent experience an asset.
