The Role:
We are looking for a self-motivated superstar Pharmacy Assistant to join PocketPills amazing team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality customer (member) service to patients.
- Process new and refill prescriptions
- Take/send refill requests and respond to patient inquiries.
- Send refill and transfer requests to doctors and pharmacies.
- Verify prescription information is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain member satisfaction.
- Understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses.
- Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items as per the College of Pharmacy regulations.
- Collect, organize and evaluate patient information.
- Manage both inbound and outbound calls.
- Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our members having in each interaction.
- Take a handson approach to resolve every issue, owning it from start to finish.
- Provide bestinclass service experience for our members while working in a fastpaced environment.
- Understand that each interaction is about more than solving a single problem, but an opportunity to build a longterm relationship.
Qualifications (Must-Haves):
- 12 years of pharmacy experience
- Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications.
- Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills.
- Strong member service focus.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with mĂnimal supervision.
- A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
- Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member.
- Detailoriented.
- Experience working under pressure in a fastpaced work environment while consistently exceeding productivity and quality stand.
- Flexible to work in different shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Enjoys multitasking and is proficient in computer handling skills.
