The Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated superstar Pharmacy Assistant to join PocketPills amazing team.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver quality customer (member) service to patients.
  • Process new and refill prescriptions
  • Take/send refill requests and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Send refill and transfer requests to doctors and pharmacies.
  • Verify prescription information is complete and accurate.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to maintain member satisfaction.
  • Understanding of commonly prescribed medications and their uses.
  • Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items as per the College of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Collect, organize and evaluate patient information.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our members having in each interaction.
  • Take a handson approach to resolve every issue, owning it from start to finish.
  • Provide bestinclass service experience for our members while working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Understand that each interaction is about more than solving a single problem, but an opportunity to build a longterm relationship.

Qualifications (Must-Haves):

  • 12 years of pharmacy experience
  • Experience recognizing and identifying patient medications.
  • Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills.
  • Strong member service focus.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently with mĂ­nimal supervision.
  • A thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellence.
  • Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Detailoriented.
  • Experience working under pressure in a fastpaced work environment while consistently exceeding productivity and quality stand.
  • Flexible to work in different shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Enjoys multitasking and is proficient in computer handling skills.
