Description
Job Duties

  • Gain Gessmann product knowledge by reviewing technical documentation and product training including some initial hands on mechanical assembly to more rapidly learn our most popular products
  • Utilize all available resources to find new prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers by identifying the key decision makers
  • Manage and interpret customer requirements speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Maintaining records of customer communications and contact information as required
  • Update client information in the company contact database as required.
  • Preparing responses to RFQ (request for quote) and RFI (request for information)
  • Order entry; communicating expected delivery date; explaining stockouts if required
  • Providing technical support to designated customers
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and local representatives
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales

Requirements:


  • Electrical/Electronics sales experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
