The Natural Resource Specialist Supervisor coordinates a team of resource technical staff, delivering services across multiple program areas in the natural resource sector for the Rocky Mountain District in the Kootenay Boundary Region.

Job Requirements:


  • Degree, diploma, certification in a natural resource field, or two (2) years of recent, related experience (within the last ten (10) years).
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in negotiating/mediating solutions in the natural resource sector.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience supervising, leading, coaching or mentoring staff.
Preference may be given to applicants with one or both of the following:

  • Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
