Essential Duties:


  • Experience managing general office/accounting at dealerships preferred
  • Experience with automotive environments and service centers
  • Some knowledge of asset management (land/building)
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization
  • Deliver indepth auto industry knowledge
  • Prepare and/or review financial statements
  • Act as an industry expert and technical accounting resource
  • Provide consulting relative to business transactions
  • Develop and lead staff as demand grows
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions
  • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
  • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules
Attributes/Skills

  • BA in Accounting
  • MA in Accounting or MBA
  • CPA
  • 5+ years experience as automotive dealership industry CFO or Controller
  • Team player mindset and willingness to collaborate
  • Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessary
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results
  • PC proficient is essential. CDK experience is preferred

Salary:
$80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
