Description

The Sub Prime Coordinator will assist the Credit (subprime finance) department with various day to day needs as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Credit, Finance and Sales Managers may provide direction on tasks that need to be completed throughout the day.

Primary areas of focus will be dealing with potential and existing customers, making and answering phone calls, setting up appointments and other administrative tasks.


Job Duties

  • Customers
  • Coordinating finance leads and calling applicants to set up appointments
  • Tracking leads' sources, dates they are received and inputting all notes on customers files
  • Inputting customers info in dealer socket
  • Confirming appointments and making sure customers have the necessary documentation for their credit consultation
  • Getting in touch with missed appointments and rescheduling
  • Working with credit/subprime manager to ensure customers have taken deliveries of their vehicles successfully and all conditions have been met
  • Collecting feedback from customers
  • Helping sales, service, accounting and prime finance departments at incoming/outgoing calls
  • Performing and assisting with test drives
  • Inventory
  • Having a general knowledge of the new and used inventory
  • Getting familiarized with vehicle files
  • Understanding subprime deal process in regards to approved units/vehicles
  • Getting familiarized with used car pouches, including car proofs and mechanical inspection reports
  • Ensure vehicle is prepared for delivery
  • Administrative
  • Monitoring credit/subprime department log book
  • Creating deal jackets, deal files and deal pouches if needed
  • Keeping files (delivered, or dead) for vehicles organized and in sequence
  • Understanding file/key log book
  • Understanding dealer plates log book
  • Getting familiarized with gas and car wash cards
  • Helping sales, accounting and prime finance departments, at any administrative, accounting, and customer service work if needed

Requirements:


  • 1 year experience in an office setting an asset
  • Excellent Oral, Written & Listening skills
  • Well spoken and have the ability to speak clearly and confidently in all business settings.
  • The prioritization skills necessary to use time effectively and set action plans to achieve business targets.
