Gyros and more is growing chain restaurants in Windsor- Essex region. We are operating in 8 different locations including Chatham, Leamington, Lasalle, Windsor, Emeryville, Manning, Essex and Amherstburg.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (chopping vegetables, cooking and slicing gyro meat, etc)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the Gyros & More Staff
- Answer, report, and follow management instructions
- Clean up stations and the whole restaurant
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Operate the cash register and take orders (via in person and over the phone)
Requirements:
- Available full time (Monday to Saturday)
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to lift at least 10 pounds
- Be able to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts
Training:
Salary:
$15.00-$16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
