We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our Financial Analyst


Position Summary:


The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting and performing duties related to manufacturing, supply chain, costing and other ad hoc reporting functions including: monthly production attainment and downtime impact analysis, inventory analysis, capital expenditures financial tracking and spend measurement, budget and forecast preparation support, and other ad hoc projects including new sku costing and data analytics.

As the business grows, this role is expected to become a key contributor to future growth opportunities within the finance team.

This position plays an important role assisting the Finance department to provide meaningful and timely insights on company KPI's and strategic objectives.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate and Uphold Riverside's Values

Financial Analysis: Assist in the month-end reporting process of actuals vs standard costs, workorder variance summary, and insight driven production and supply chain reporting

Develop templates and tools:help to track and provide insight into Overhead expenses by Cost Centres and build partnerships with owners to optimize budget management and performance

Budgeting and Forecasting: support the finance team in developing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and help track capital expenditures

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and projects including building new financial models and learning to use new tools like SAP Cloud Analytics and Tableau

  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships
The Financial Analyst reports to the Director - Supply Finance.

No positions currently report to the Financial Analyst.


Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, working towards CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related work experience, preferably in a CPG/Retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with multiple data sources.
  • Some experience with ERP packages and budgeting modules, preferably SAP.
  • Good communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, multitasking and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic and evolving work environment.

  • Team player with ability to work effectively across organizations and crossfunctional partnership with all levels of management in a global setting.
