We are looking for a passionate professional, and detailed oriented
Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating compliance with OSH guidelines.

Your main goal will be to always ensure a safe working environment and prevent injuries and accidents.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aid in investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidents.
  • Carry out inspections and audits in working areas and sites as well as external clients.
  • Provide recommendations to prevent the reoccurrence of workplace injuries and incidents.
  • Collaborate with all levels in the company to build a safety culture.
  • Investigate workplace hazard reports and safety concerns.
  • Develop safe work procedures, and safety reports, and maintain appropriate records.
  • Tracking and Controlling documents.
  • Communicate within your own department to ensure that all relevant information is forwarded to the appropriate personnel on a regular and timely basis.
  • Provide regular updates to the HS Manager regarding progress on required duties and the status of any outstanding actions.
  • Coach and mentor staff as appropriate to improve health and safety performance.
  • Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual health and safety reports to the HS Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Computer experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong sense of respect for confidentiality.
  • Problemsolving attitude and analytical ability.
  • A mature selfstarter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and able to adapt to change.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Valid G Driver's License
  • NCSO or CRST designation or working towards considered an asset.
