Responsibilities

Perform mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance interventions
Works Independently and pro active
Building inspections / maintenance (fix & paint) / Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment, and facilities in the production departments
Manages and prioritizes mechanical assistance requests from all departments
Ensures that the work is carried out in accordance with good industrial practices and health and safety standards
Set up programs, controls and set up daily to do sheets.
Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building/ equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
Must be flexible and available when needed
Offers solutions and ideas for improvement
Handyman

Skills

Bilingualism required in French and English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of mechanics and industrial processes
Basic welding/electrical/plumbing
Capable of handling multiple events simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure
Planning skills, organized
Computer skills (Word, Excel)

Shifts

Day Shift 6:30am 3:00pm

Walk-in interviews from 8:00am to 2:00pm
