Location:

  • What do we do, and how do you fit in?_ Curtiss-Wright creates a wide variety of embedded single board computers, graphics products and switching products designed for the rugged defense industry.


Working as a member of CWDS's Production Test team, you will be responsible for setting up and testing a wide variety of complex circuit cards, graphics cards and single board computers.

Some Environmental Stress Screening may be required to help meet the daily/weekly targets.

As a Test Production Associate, you would perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies as well as Box Build potentially.

The Test Production Associate could also assist engineers under close supervision in conducting experiments.


Your Challenge:

  • Set up and perform tests following specific test procedures using automated test equipment.
  • Identify nonconforming products.
  • Provide feedback on technical issues to Test Engineering Support.
  • Suggest process changes and improvements as it relates to your work environment.
  • Perform ATPs (Acceptance test procedures) for the various products.
  • Perform JTAG testing for the various products.
  • Perform Environmental Stress testing of products.
  • Box Build Runin and system testing.
  • Attend all provided product test training.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Willing to support 3 shift rotations as required.
  • Responsible to setup/remove test equipment.
  • Complete all logs, reports and other data as defined by Team Lead/Engineer.

Your Expertise:

  • Experience in working with test procedures and supporting documents.
  • Technical writing experience would be an asset.
  • Strong technical and computer skills as well as MS office tools.
  • Familiar with DOS operating system and Windows environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing model would be an asset.
  • Experience in using SAP would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond quickly to changes in the build schedule as required.


Education and Experience- Electronic Technician or equivalent post-secondary education with three to five years of experience in ESS/Test within a manufacturing environment.
