Western Demolition Services is seeking an experienced Hazmat
Foreman / Lead Hand for our Edmonton Area Office.

Responsibilities:

Punctual, dedicated reliable and willing to learn and grow with
Western Contracting Ltd.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and mechanical drawings/blue prints
Completing site walkthroughs at the project kick off stage
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, to ensure needs are met.
Organizes, directs, and supervise employees engaged on demolition projects.
Complete site walkthroughs on a daily basis
Ensure that the project is completed on time and on budget.
Ensure that the quality of workmanship meet or exceed company and OH&S standards.
Knowledge of maintenance full range of materials, methods equipment and tools involved in demolition projects.
Takes an active role in the hiring, training, and continuous assessment of field personnel.
Leads daily toolbox meetings and other project progress meetings.
Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and delegation of duty.
Assists with the preparation of estimates, execution plans, OH&S, safe work plans, work assignments etc.
Document and file paperwork to office daily, included but not limited to timecards, hazard assessment, vehicle reports, toolbox meetings and material requests

Education and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience as Foreman / lead hand in hazmat, demolition of commercial / industrial buildings.
Flexibility to travel out of town when required
Ability to read and understand contracts, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary:
Based on Experience and qualifications

Salary:
$24.54-$43.93 per hour

Schedule:
