THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Fitness and sports manager, the Sports Stores Technician organizes sports stores activities and equipment purchases according to established policies and regulations.
She/he places orders and tracks materials and supplies. She/he prepares reports for supervisor, as required. She/he maintains records of distribution accounts and obtains quotes for goods/products from suppliers and submits to supervisor for purchases.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses**An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
A valid driver's license (Province of Quebec)
Forklift operators licence, an asset
Experience
In issuing sports equipment
In the preparation and maintenance of outdoor sports facilities
In equipment maintenance/scheduling
In loss prevention
In inventory control
In record keeping/invoicing
In event planning and project management
