    A Mining Engineer Co-Op/Intern at Mosaic will be assigned to projects focused on improving mining conditions and economics.

    Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.
    Full time Co-Op/Internship hrs a week on site.
    Assignments will involve learning all aspects of working at a site including Mine Planning, Mine Ventilation, Operations Optimization, Quality Control, Maintenance, Safety, Mapping and more
    Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, mine operators, engineers (of various disciplines), lab personnel, and contractors
    Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment

    Sophomore level or higher pursuing a bachelor's degree in pursuing a bachelor's degree in Geology or Mining, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

    ~Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment
    ~Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred
    ~ Reliable transportation and valid driver's license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
    ~ Basic computer skills are required
    ~ Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable
    ~ Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments
