Job summary
The Manager Procurement is responsible for sourcing evaluating negotiating placing managing and closing out contracts for services and commercial-off-the-shelf COTS materials required in support of new vessels constructed by Seaspan Vancouver Shipyards under the National Shipbuilding Strategy NSS.The position works closely with key stakeholders in handling supplier product selection This position reports into the Senior Director Supply Chain and is also accountable for the Supply Planning team with day-to-day responsibility for material demand forecasting order policies and inventory strategies across new vessel programs.
