Nokia's Network Infrastructure business group is at the heart of a revolution to bring increasingly larger and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
What you will learn and contribute to
As Mechanical Assembly support in the NI-IP Networking group, you will be responsible for the assembly of the latest designs and prototypes.
You will work with highly motivated teams of engineering professionals and have personal responsibly to drive your assemblies through the process.
This position requires working knowledge of all assembly requirements for high end electromechanical designs.- Assist managing Mechanical assembly for NPI/Proto. Responsibilities include assisting in review of assembly documentation, perform assemblies, support tooling selection, IT infrastructure and assembly schedule
- Review documentation in detail for assembly drawings per Nokia requirements and work closely with HW and Mechanical designers to ensure designs are aligned with manufacturing processes and optimized for cost.
- Oversee and manage complete packaging development process, including design, prototype development, and performance testing.
- Support continuous improvement activities for assembly of products for improved ease of assembly, design and cost.
- Contribute to the development of operating procedures, standardized practices, material specifications and validation test methods.
What is Nokia looking for from me
You have:
- A diploma or degree in Electromechanical design and assembly, or a related program.
- Practical understanding of mechanical assembly tools and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills with verbal and written communication skills.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Proficient in the use of digital sharing tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
- Experience in production/assembly environment.
