CASUAL - CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE (up to 6 months) - LEDUC

JOB POSTING # C10-23


Progressive Wage Rate:
$ $33.70

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analysing and responding to telephone calls, inquiries and requests from both internal and external customers and government agencies;
  • Generating and dispatching appropriate service orders to field personnel;
  • Creating and maintaining appropriate records of customer comments, feedback, and payment arrangements in the applicable system;
  • Receiving and processing natural gas emergency call from customers and/or emergency services;
  • Maintaining working relationships with Settlement, Band and Reserve administration;
  • Maintaining call answer levels to comply with Alberta Utilities Commission requirements and;
  • Providing after hours on call coverage between October 31 and April 15.

Qualifications include:

  • Business related Certificate from a recognized postsecondary institution;
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a call center/telephone customer service environment;
  • Specific call centre agent or customer service training;
  • Strong keyboarding skills;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills; and
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in an environment of constant pressure to meet deadlines and emergencies.
