Job Summary:
We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced Indian restaurant environment. The Kitchen Helper will assist with various tasks related to food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Assist the cook and kitchen staff in meal preparation
Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent food quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
Adhere to food safety and handling procedures
Assist with dishwashing and maintaining a clean dish area
Help with inventory management and stock rotation

Requirements:

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of meal preparation techniques is a plus
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
