Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Car Sales Executive to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in high-end sales, develop a robust sales pipeline, and contribute to the growth of our dealership through effective marketing and relationship management. Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued to better serve our diverse clientele. The Car Sales Executive will be responsible for engaging with customers both in-person and through various channels, negotiating deals, and supporting the overall sales process to meet dealership goals.
Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts, including B2B sales and retail interactions
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by prospecting new clients and nurturing existing relationships
- Conduct high-end sales consultations, demonstrating vehicles and explaining features to prospective buyers
- Negotiate terms and close deals efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience and increase dealership revenue
- Manage sales support activities such as preparing contracts, processing paperwork, and coordinating with finance departments
- Utilize effective phone etiquette and communication skills to follow up with leads and prospects
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional strategies that attract new customers
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks using CRM tools or other organizational systems
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, ensuring positive experiences that foster loyalty
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales or related retail sales roles; dealership experience is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals confidently
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or high-end sales environments
- Ability to manage a robust sales pipeline effectively from prospecting to closing
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple clients and administrative tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to car sales and customer engagement techniques
- Proficiency in math for calculating payments, financing options, and deal structures
- Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to build rapport over the phone or via digital channels
- Customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship building
