Position Overview

The Logistics and Production Coordinator (LPC), under the leadership of the Production Manager, will assist with coordinating shipments and creating production plan.

The LPC also collaborates with the production manager to supervise small and custom fabrications.


Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Schedule both large and small shipments to domestic and USlocated customers, ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Maintain and establish positive relationships with our logistics providers.
  • Negotiate with logistics partners to receive optimal pricing.
  • Monitor all delivery processes and ensure all regulations and custom duties are followed. Remain up to date on the customs regulations.
  • Work with our Customer care & Sales, Procurement, Production, and Quality departments to ensure you have everything you need to execute your shipment.
  • Prepare, check and verify delivery tickets and invoices.
  • Communicate any change to the delivery schedule with Customer care and sales, procurement, quality and production departments and respond to delivery related inquiries
  • Schedule new jobs for fabrication and keep the production schedule up to date.
  • Coordinate bulk and custom fabrications and make sure they are completed and shipped on time.
  • Maintain our ERP system to ensure it accurately reflects all shipments that leave our facility.
  • Collect Pretrip inspection and perform driver checkins & checkouts.
  • Working with the Production Manager, create & publish Daily production Plan for next day/week
  • Create/Complete/Maintain shipping documents & records
  • Ensure that products are properly packed, stored and transported to avoid any accidents and damages.
  • Make lastminute order adjustments as requested by customers

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of Logistics experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent computer skills required and in software such as Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Detailoriented and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
  • Superior customer service and communication, time management, planning & organizational skills
  • Team player with positive attitude and treat everyone with respect.
