- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track merchandise turnover, and manage stock ordering to ensure that the store is wellstocked with popular products while minimizing overstock.
- Customer Service: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service. Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales and Profitability: Set sales targets and goals, implement effective sales strategies, and monitor financial performance. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost control.
- Visual Merchandising: Oversee the presentation and layout of the store to optimize the shopping experience for customers.
- Compliance: Ensure that the store adheres to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and compliance with local regulations.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and other key metrics to inform decisionmaking.
- Previous retail management experience, preferably as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic financial analysis.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced retail environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of the Yellowknife retail market is a plus.
