    Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate to Senior Industrial Electrical Technologist to join our Electrical & Instrumentation team in Halifax, NS .

    Previous electrical experience in industrial, water, wastewater, and municipal projects is preferred but not required.
    Assist in the development of preliminary and detailed designs for industrial facilities, water & wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and similar infrastructure;
    Prepare electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit;
    Complete electrical design tasks and calculations for projects;
    Support the day-to-day activities of projects from inception through engineering and construction;
    Prepare designs in accordance with the most recent electrical codes and standards;
    Coordinate with utilities, equipment suppliers, contractors, and clients;
    Conduct site surveys of existing conditions;
    Adhere to company Safety and QA/QC policies and procedures.
    Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent;
    ~Experience working in a consulting engineering environment is preferred;
    ~ Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD software with ability to create and edit electrical design drawings;
    ~ Working knowledge of Revit, AGI32 and SKM Power Tools software is an asset;
    ~ Familiarity working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
    ~ Willingness to travel to job sites;
