- Practices safe work behaviours and supports the Copper Mountain Mine safety culture through facilitating daily and monthly safety meetings and initiatives,
- Oversees work of planners (mechanical and electrical), scheduler, materials coordinator, shutdown coordinator, PM coordinator, and Mechanical engineer,
- Follow all Company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Supports the team to create a schedule of approved work orders and PM's for execution,
- Reviews the work order status report to ensure work is being planned and scheduled, assists in setting an integrated schedule, and tracks upcoming work,
- Identifies and escalates all critical issues that impede the execution of the planned and scheduled work,
- Works collaboratively across departments to ensure the proper communication of timing and impact of scheduled tasks,
- Plans tasks to minimize the demand for resources and the impact on operating performance without jeopardizing the condition of the equipment,
- Performs any other responsibilities related to the Supervisor role as required or as assigned by the department head.
- Post secondary education in related field,
- Minimum of 10 years' reliability experience in maintenance industry, preferably mine/mill processing related,
- Experience with computerized maintenance planning/scheduling system,
- High level of proficiency in Maximo or other similar CMMS systems,
- Experience using a scheduling software such as MS Projects or others considered an asset,
- Possess a valid Class 5/7N British Columbia driver's license and have access to personal transportation.
- Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills,
- Solid understanding of all processes of the Mill, including crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, tails disposal, and fresh & reclaim water pumping,
- Sound knowledge of the main components of each system and how they interact as they can realize synergies in work packages and optimize downtime opportunities,
- Strong comprehension of the principles of preventative maintenance and maintenance planning,
- Able to work collaboratively with other team members in a positive manner,
- Must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a strong work ethic,
- Required to meet pre-employment testing requirements.
- Team environment with regularly scheduled and ad-hoc meetings,
- Frequent exposure to uncomfortable conditions associated with the work environment such as noise and working in dusty and wet environments,
- Work will require to be clean-shaven.

Mill Maintenance Planning and Reliability Supervisor
Location
Copper Mountain Mine is located near the town of Princeton, British Columbia at the center of the scenic Similkameen Valley. Summary
Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Superintendent, the Mill Maintenance Planning and Reliability Supervisor is responsible for developing a Planning and Reliability team, and work culture that recognizes the company's commitment to quality, availability, responsiveness, and safety.
