    Description


    Principal- Enterprise Data Protection TORONTO BASED ROLEHYBRIDProvide oversight and leadership to global technology groups and all business lines, specific to data protection control environment, driving industry best practices and regulatory developments, ensuring data protection controls are effective and all risks are mitigated.

    INSIGHTS/SKILLS

    • Provide continuous leadership. fostering collaborations, working closely with business leaders, Risk and Compliance, Data, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Internal Audit, and IT Operations. This is organization wide in scope.
    • Collaborate with technology enterprise wide (infrastructure, security engineers, developers, architects, IT security and technology risk teams to assess controls and remediation actionsAs the lead, you will ensure appropriate processes, controls and measurements are in line with strategic priorities and regulatory obligations.
    • Support the development of the strategy, governance, and operating model across the Data Protection domains.
    • Drive the implementation of a strong Data Protection culture in partnership with stakeholders across various business lines.

    TECHNOLOGIES5+ years of relevant experienceCertifications:
    CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA are an asset.
    Current with COBIT, ITIL, NIST, or other frameworks.
    Experience in Technology, Information/Cyber Security, IT Audit, IT Compliance, regulatory-supervision, consulting, or advisory roles. Hands-on experience working on security controls/mechanisms.
    Must be fluent in Spanish verbal/written
