Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate and personalized care to seniors in their homes or assisted living facilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
  • Provide support and assistance to clients with dementia or memory loss
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the wellbeing of clients
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of senior care practices and techniques
  • Ability to provide patientcentered care with empathy and compassion
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
  • Familiarity with dementia care and understanding of the unique needs of individuals with memory loss
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual


Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
