The Opportunity: We are seeking passionate and experienced Restaurant Managers in Britannia Beach. As a manager you will lead the daily operations of our exciting restaurant concepts. As the driving force behind our front-of-house team, you will be instrumental in shaping the guest experience, fostering a positive and dynamic workplace, and ensuring seamless service execution.
In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations, including team development, service standards, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the leadership team to establish a strong brand identity, implement best practices, and create a welcoming environment that sets us apart in the community.
About the Concept: Autostrada Oyster Bar & Grill, Britannia Beach continues to focus on our Italian roots but with an additional focus in the rich bounty of food and beverage in our surrounding. The location is unique as we are ocean side on the Sea to Sky just south of Squamish and away Downtown roots
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Leadership: Assist in managing and motivating the front-of-house team, ensuring alignment with Autostrada's core values and maintaining a positive, energetic work environment.
- Team Development: Help train and mentor team members to ensure excellent service standards, encourage professional growth, and maintain high morale.
- Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest enjoys an outstanding dining experience by supporting the team and stepping in when necessary to resolve issues or enhance service.
- Operational Support: Assist with inventory management, scheduling, invoicing, and ordering to ensure smooth daily service and operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Help implement feedback from guests and team members to improve service quality and front-of-house operations.
- Recruitment Assistance: Support recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent, ensuring the team is well-equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Collaboration: Work alongside Restaurant Managers and the leadership team to ensure a seamless flow of operations and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team building and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to manage and optimize labor costs while ensuring efficient staffing levels.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and grow in a leadership role.
- Calm, composed, and effective under pressure, with a focus on maintaining service standards and team morale.
- Open availability, including flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
