Project Coordinator - Summer Job
Job Title

  • 16week Summer Contract (Fulltime 40hrs/week)
  • The Project Coordinator is responsible for auditing and evaluating a variety of programs at Nisa Foundation. The Program Coordinator will work closely with program staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure assigned projects are coordinated and planed out. In some cases, the project coordinator will be responsible for executing projectrelated tasks. Ultimately, the Program Coordinator will develop an auditing system and support yearly audit implementation.

What you'll do

  • Create a project plan for the Web Chat project
  • Complete web chat research and analysis.
  • Provide final proposed recommendations
  • Coordinate tasks accordingly to the timelines
  • Create a plan to move over Google Classroom to M36
  • Work with the team to complete the transition
  • Communicate with program staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to ensure that all necessary information and resources are available
  • Collect and analyze data related to project effectiveness
  • Manage project evaluation and assessment efforts
  • Perform other programrelated tasks as needed

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as education, nonprofit management, or social work and/or relevant work experiences
  • 23 years of experience in program coordination or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program management software
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

ELIGIBILITY
This position is part of the Canadian government's summer job program.

  • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
