ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

The John Noble Home (JNH) is a "Class A" facility and has a proud and long-standing care-giving tradition, dating back to 1881.

Today, we offer several different quality programs devoted to senior housing, care, and services that operate within our care campus.

All meet and serve the needs of both Brant County and the City of Brantford and their respective constituents as we are a municipally operated and governed facility.

The John Noble Home consists of 156 long term care beds with planned expansion, a community-based day & stay program and senior's apartments.

The Executive Assistant (EA) supports and embraces our vision, mission and values of the John Noble Home.

As a key member of our leadership team, reporting to the Administrator, the EA performs administrative duties and project coordination functions for the Administrator as well as assists with assigned special projects.

The EA assists managers with administering mandatory online learning through Surge Learning platforms. The EA also submits reports to the Ministry of Long Term Care through the HSIMI online data reporting portal.

The EA coordinates the Committee of Management meetings, schedules, prepares agendas, takes and prepares minutes, reviews reports and assists the Chair to conduct meetings within municipal regulations.

The EA also assists Committee of Management members where necessary to obtain reports, attend meetings virtually and answers queries.

This role requires supervision of reception staff and general administration for the home and handles confidential and sensitive matters with complete discretion.


SALARY RANGE:
$61,756 - $64,896 per year (based on a 37 1⁄2 hour work week) plus comprehensive healthcare/dental benefits and OMERS pension.
