The Rental Coordinator will report to the Idealease Manager in the Rental Department and will manage existing account relationships and generate new rental accounts sales.

They will also manage operations and sales by coordinating and dispatching our rental reservations, overseeing our customer invoicing, and learning hands-on asset management.


Responsibilities

Operations Related Duties

  • Rental invoicing and IFTA Reporting.
  • Become proficient with Idealease Rental (computer) System, Geotab, etc.
  • Open/close rental agreements.
  • Check out/in rental equipment, check for damage, all fluid levels, cleanliness
  • Insure proper driver and insurance requirements are met.

Fleet Related Duties

  • Assist our General Rental Manager in specifying trucks to fit the local and regional markets and fleet & component Purchasing Programs.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Sales Related Duties

  • Develop and coordinate sales and marketing programs and strategies for new rental accounts.
  • Manage existing rental customers providing customer service and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate rental reservations and substitute vehicle requirements.
  • Provide National Account Support.
  • Utilize lead programs and CRM to develop and expand our customer base.

Basic Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education; College or University Diploma/Degree.
  • Truck or automotive dealership experience is an asset
  • Competency in the following areas required; customer service, administrative skills, time management.
  • Proficiency with software and computers.
  • Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Driver's Abstract

Minimum Pay Rate

CAD $40,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay Rate
