Purpose:


  • Optimise project delivery through its lifecycle, provide support for the setup, configuration and training for Smart3D on Major Projects or Portfolios, as well as services or improves 3D project and data delivery. This responsibility extends to coordination and integration with other Hexagon tools such as Smart PID or Smart I&C, as required on a project by project basis.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversight of setup and configuration of S3D projects
  • Setup, installation, and configuration of project database servers
  • Provide project setups through deployment of the Worley standard delivery builds
  • Oversight and maintain project S3D database server and workstation specifications and diagrams
  • General daytoday oversight and management of project S3D usage
  • Oversight of project S3D Service Requests in process with EDS
  • Provide input into project estimates and proposals
  • Provide input into project execution plans and strategies based on previous experiences and learnings
  • Provide project support as required through the use of ServiceNow
  • Liaise with Intergraph support representatives and elevate ServiceNow requests as required to ensure a coordinated effort with the vendor. Answers are captured and shared with the entire Worley community to ensure efficient resolution to similar issues in the future
  • Liaise with various regional IT for hardware and network requirements
  • Assist regional IT in troubleshooting performance and network issues
  • Provide validation of usability on customer provided datasets
  • Maintain S3D development plans and roadmaps based on budget requirements and feedback from project team
  • Align, setup, and monitor workshare environments with other offices
  • Align and interface with other Hexagon tool administrators

  • S3D implementation/execution as described in company S3D Procedures and Workflows
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database systems
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
  • Experience in software installation and configuration of S3D on workstations and dedicated servers.
  • Advanced capabilities in project setup and administration; including creation and maintenance of project databases, clash management, workshare configuration
  • Experience in managing backup systems and test environments, handover of database, troubleshooting databases and software issues, configuration changes, and version and versioning management.
  • Advanced modeling capabilities in all core S3D tasks; Piping, Equipment, Structural, Electrical, HVAC
  • Familiarity with Material Handling tasks and specific modeling capabilities
  • Experience in multioffice work sharing
  • Advanced capabilities and understanding in developing discipline reference data including piping specifications
  • Knowledge of Isometric, drawing and report configuration
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with piping specifications
  • Functional knowledge of other intelligent SmartPlant tools and how they are integrated through SmartPlant Foundation
  • Functional knowledge of SmartPlant Materials/Reference Data and how data is integrated into the S3D environment
  • Practical knowledge of.
NET programming language


Industry Specific Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience with engineering design systems and workflows in the EPCM industry
  • Relevant engineering industry experience
  • 5+ years using Smart 3D
  • 3+ years administrating Smart 3D

IT Skills:


  • Proficient with Windows and Windows Server operating systems; network operations and protocols, folder sharing, active directory groups
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint

People Skills:


  • Excell
