We are currently recruiting for a full time staff member for our Chatham office. The clientele that we serve are primarily owner managed businesses ranging in size from small local business to larger companies with branches outside of Ontario and Canada

Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Providing bookkeeping support to both clients and internal professional staff;
  • Accounting services assignments, including posting to general ledgers, reconciling accounts, printing and reviewing reports from accounting systems;
  • Efficient execution of compilation engagements which includes contacting clients directly for the purpose of answering questions, identifying requirements and anticipating and resolving problems;
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns; and
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Postsecondary education in accounting, finance or business or equivalent work experience;
  • Knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping and accounting practices;
  • Experience with QBO, Sage 50, QuickBooks desktop and Microsoft Office software;
  • Excellent computer skills and a demonstrated ability to learn and utilize new computer programs;
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask;
  • Flexibility according to the individual needs of our clients, including travel to client locations; and
  • A team player mentality.

Location:

In person at our Keil Drive office. Hybrid or remote options are not available.
