**Description of Position:
Reporting to the Business Support Manager for Peri-Operative Specialties, you will be responsible **for coding/ inputting of surgical billing. Your duties will include follow up and re-submission of rejected OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan) claims, the preparation and transmission of Remittance Advice Inquiries, and maintaining/reconciling/reviewing all outstanding claims. In addition, you will be responsible for Reciprocal, IFHP, Quebec, International, Insurance and Self-Pay billing. You will challenge all rejected claims, and endeavor to maximize all monies due to the surgical departments. As an integral member of the team, you will provide support to other team members within the group during any absences. In your role, you will use your billing expertise to maximize all claims, and to offer billing solutions/education from inquiring Physicians.
