Our Client, a leading Food Manufacturing Company, is seeking an accomplished hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities in a food manufacturing facility.
Supervise a team of (4) direct reports, providing guidance and support as needed.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Coordinate with production and engineering teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to operations.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, providing hands-on support when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in maintenance.
Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor in the Food Industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in maintenance management or related field or 433 Millwright license
Experience with preventative maintenance software systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Note:
This position requires hands-on involvement in maintenance activities and leadership skills to effectively manage a team in a dynamic food manufacturing environment.
