Aftermarket Territory Sales Manager - Fort McMurray, Canada - Westpower

This position is a Fort McMurray area-based position, with extensive travel. The role will be serving NE Alberta, Fort McMurray and Fort McKay areas.
As part of our outside sales team, the successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual with a background in rotating equipment/pumps as well as experience in sales and service.
parts; service; repairs; overhauls; re-rates; reliability and trouble-shooting products and services; and industrial synthetic lubricants.
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales with existing customers and developing opportunities with new customers within assigned territory.

- Journeyman Millwright or Certified Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Engineer
- Hands on experience in heavy repairs
- Knowledge of centrifugal and reciprocating pumps an asset.
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot problems
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Scheduling appointments and visiting existing customers to review product needs and developing other opportunities.
- Knowledge and ability to present full product portfolio.
- Presenting product quotes as required.
- Organizing and attending joint sales calls with Westpower Product Specialists.
- Developing new accounts.
- Continuously updating customers on product improvements.
- Providing solutions to customers' problems.
- Attending Trade Shows and Conferences.
- Introduction of new products to customers.
- Liaising between customers and the company to update status of proposals.
- Preparing reports for marketing and sales and keeping expense accounts.
- Performing maintenance and updating of customers' accounts including contact names for future sales.
- Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
- All other job duties as required

- Millwright: 5 years (preferred)
- Pump: 2 years (preferred)
- industrial (oil, gas, lumber, etc): 5 years (preferred)
- Technical sales: 3 years (preferred)

- 75% (required)
