    At McKesson Canada, you'll help us carry out our mission to improve lives and advance healthcare. As a key member of the McKesson Technology Supply Chain Business Solutions team, perform strategic business research and analysis. Review, analyse and evaluate business processes, business systems and users' need in relation with business requirements. Participate in the planning and coordination / management of projects. Lead the design and development of systems, new application versions, application enhancements, and support existing applications. Participate in implementation and maintenance of systems.

    Ensure business alignment of IT development initiatives
    Identify process improvements and mitigate risks
    Write detailed descriptions of and analyse users' needs and system functionality and steps required to develop enhancements or fixes taking into account best-practice methods and the McKesson Canada methodology
    propose creative solutions to user problems identified through enhancements, projects or incidents
    Evaluate entire scope (budget, time, effort), system impacts, constraints, risks and alternatives of the solutions proposed

    Document business processes and system features to be proposed to users; Create functional specifications, business rules and other necessary documents and information in order to communicate the requirements to the programming team.

    Create and document the test strategy and plan for all part of the system
    Create test cases, participate in the actual testing, and document the test results
    Coordinate with the Change Adoption team the preparation and execution of communication and training for users
    Assists in the execution of the transition including the implementation plan
    Supervise resources for project activities and follow up on efforts (complex to very complex project)
    Share his/her business, technical and application knowledge with other members of the team
    May lead a project or project team with significant impact on company results, or may be an expert in his field, providing ideas, opinions and advice to others
    Establish and communicate common goals and direction for project; Has decision-making authority and autonomy to deliver goals of project as applicable; Accountable for quality of work delivered by external suppliers, as applicable; Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
    Minimum of 7 years in Information technology or involvement in technology initiatives
    Minimum of 7 years as business systems analyst, specifically in Supply Chain area
    Thorough understanding of IT and software concepts, software design development and modeling
    Excellent knowledge of development methodologies (RUP, UML, Agile ...)
    Strong Knowledge and experience of business concepts and requirements
    Above average communication skills with good written and oral skills in both French and English
    Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

    Coordonner avec l'équipe d'adoption du changement la préparation et l'exécution de la communication aux utilisateurs ainsi que la formation de ces derniers.

    Superviser les ressources des activités de projet et effectuer un suivi des efforts (projet complexe à très complexe).
    Participer aux activités de soutien à la production en dehors des heures de bureau.
    Communiquer ses connaissances des affaires, des techniques et des applications aux autres membres de l'équipe.

    Possiblement diriger un projet ou une équipe de projet ayant une incidence importante sur les résultats de l'entreprise, ou agir comme expert dans son domaine, fournissant des idées, des opinions et des conseils aux autres.

    Encadrer les autres en cas de problèmes de gestion de projet et recommander des solutions.
    Fixer et communiquer des objectifs communs et une orientation pour le projet; Détenir le pouvoir décisionnel et l'autonomie nécessaires pour atteindre les objectifs de projet, le cas échéant; Assumer la responsabilité de la qualité du travail accompli par les fournisseurs externes, si nécessaire; Baccalauréat en technologie de l'information ou expérience équivalente
    Minimum de 7 ans en technologie de l'information ou implication dans des initiatives technologiques
    Expérience en architecture i-series/AS400, développement d'applications (RPG)
    Excellente connaissance des méthodologies de développement (RUP, UML, Agile ...)
    Bonne capacité d'analyse
    Compétences en communication supérieures à la moyenne avec de bonnes compétences écrites et orales en français et en anglais

    Le/la titulaire de ce poste aura à soutenir de façon quotidienne des clients internes et/ou externes à l'extérieur du Québec et/ou aux États-Unis.

    Par conséquent, ce poste requiert une maîtrise de l'anglais à l'écrit et à l'oral.
