The Role:


An Account Executive you will play a crucial role in generating company revenue through managing and growing relationships with new clients.

You will be responsible for business development activities and working with potential clients to discover their needs. Reporting into the VP of Sales you will work alongside other stakeholders to ensure a successful sales process. You will be responsible for holding an individual quota and for achieving that quota through customer acquisition.


The Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned target accounts
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure overall satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and crosssell additional logistics services to existing clients.
  • Prospecting activities to generate new business pipeline
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop account growth strategies and meet revenue targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotations for additional services or modifications to existing contracts.
  • Develop account plans and strategies for each client to align with their business goals
  • Conduct regular account reviews with clients to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and present solutions
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to negotiate contract terms and pricing adjustments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of client interactions, communications, and agreements.

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of sales experience in logistics or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the logistics industry.
  • Resultsoriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and client satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients or attend industry events
