Systems Support Analyst

Job Summary:


The individual also participates in the following areas:

  • Development of Policies and Procedures
  • Development, Auditing and enforcement of security within Technology Infrastructure as well as the access to the various infrastructure technologies
  • Ensuring information protection utilizing data protection and recovery solutions in use by ERCO Worldwide.

Salary Range: 70-80K


Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all software, equipment, systems and network facilities are uptodate and operational
  • Serve as tier one and tier 2 point of contact for the IT Service Desk and escalate tickets to proper support personnel in a timely fashion
  • Oversee and manage infrastructure asset management
  • Deploy and configure servers, storage and networking related infrastructure including network administrative duties such as AD management, group policies, DNC, DHCP, Office 365 Administration and Azure Administration.
  • Manage and troubleshoot software, desktop hardware, and resolve issues
  • Monitor desktop and server security by maintaining antivirus solutions
  • Create custom scripts to automate tasks
  • Create deployment packages and assist with software deployment.
  • To perform analysis and determine client problems, and document these issues
  • To provide solutions for network and system related issues, and to provide detailed documentation along with it
  • To perform a cause analysis either onsite or at a client location.
  • To assist clients by performing analysis of various issues relating to LANs, WANs, desktop computers, Internet connectivity and the installation of hardware and software

Qualifications & Desired Attributes:


  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
years experience in a technical support role

  • Working knowledge of windows operating systems, Office 365, ESX, Azure Microsoft, Power Shell, Aruba Wifi Technology, Windows OS
  • Experience in ITIL, CCP, MCP, MCIP, and VMCE is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver License & Passport
Work Conditions

  • 40hour onsite work week with oncall availability where required for emergencies.
  • Up to 20% travel required.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
