***: The Assistant Database Coordinator plays a crucial role in the operational support of our Membership database, focusing primarily on processing memberships. This role involves close collaboration with the Database Coordinator to efficiently process new and renewal membership sales via various channels including web, front-of-house, and telemarketing.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for the ongoing processing of memberships and donations, including running daily imports and ensuring data accuracy between different systems.
  • Report and resolve processing issues in collaboration with the Database Coordinator and Visitor Experience Team.
  • Regularly review and address membership issues, returned mail, and declined renewal comments, ensuring data integrity and making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide backup support for running daily SQL queries and pledge processing.
  • Engage in data cleanup and assist with membership events and other miscellaneous duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A college diploma or at least 23 years of experience in database and systems management.
  • Proficiency in database and word processing systems. Advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge (RE) and Raiser's Edge NXT (RE NXT), including report generation, data processing, and data extraction, is preferred. Familiarity with Excel, Best Overview System (BOS), IATS payment processing, Blackbaud Merchant Services, and SQL is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize workflow, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
