Description
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Technician for our office in Innisfail. This role can be either remote but must travel to Innisfail twice weekly or based in Innisfail.

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm


Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly supplier balance reconciliations with SG Accounting and all suppliers to confirm accuracy of their books
  • Prepare electronic supplier EFT's in their TD bank cash management system on a weekly basis for approval by the CEO
  • Send payment remittances to all suppliers
  • Update SG Accounting upon completion of EFT's and remittances

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Minimum of Business Administration Diploma with a focus in accounting
  • Minimum of two years experience in a highvolume environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similarly complex ERP system is an asset

Required Competencies:


  • High level of initiative and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outgoing individual with the ability to communicate effectively with other departments in the organization
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A mindset to continuously improve processes

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour
